Before you arrive for your Tweed flight, you should consider the following:
- Make sure you have all important documentation. You need to have a valid photo ID with you at all times. In addition, make sure you have your boarding pass, e>ticket receipt, itinerary, and any other necessary documentation.
- Make sure you have secure bags that are properly marked. Often, bags look alike, so try to personalize your bag and be sure to have identification tags; contact information should appear inside and outside of all baggage. Passports and visas should be current for all passengers, including infants.
- Make sure you check your flight itinerary. Arrive at the airport early enough to check in, pass through security, and be at the gate on time for your departure. Note: Flights are closed thirty (30) minutes before departure, so govern yourself accordingly. At the gate, have your boarding pass, e>ticket receipt, photo ID, and other documentation handy.
- Make sure you are prepared for several safety checks. Be prepared to remove shoes and belts, mobile phones, and any metal objects in your carry-on when you approach security checkpoints. Have your photo ID ready and remove laptop computers from their cases.
- Make sure you are a healthy traveler. Let your airline staff know about any medical conditions that you may have or try to delay your trip if you are not well. If you are not well, make sure you carry your medication with you. Reserve a window seat over the wing, if you are prone to air sickness. Seek the advice of your physician if you have any questions, especially if you suffer from a chronic ailment, motion sickness, or fear of flying. Please note, you can reduce stress by allowing ample time to check in and reach your departure gate.

- Call 911 or security. If you need immediate medical assistance while at the airport, dial 911 or Airport Security.
- Contact the airline. Be courteous. Notify the airline with any travel conflicts that may arise. In the case of needing to cancel flight plan, advance notice would allow sufficient time to give another traveler your seat.
- Contact anyone waiting. Be courteous. Notify anyone that might be awaiting your arrival at the planned destination site when flights are missed, delayed or cancelled.
- Adjust your flight plans. Though this option is not always available, if you need to make changes to flight details, you need to contact your travel agent or airline in advance to avoid additional charges.
- Report all lost or stolen objects. Ask an airport attendant to direct you to the Lost and Found to report anything lost or stolen during your travels.
